Rebels- 6  Blue Jays – 3

The one-two punch of Artie McCarthy and Kevin Robbins combined for 13 stirkeouts and 1 earned run.

Phil “El Captain”  2 hits. nice double to the wall, nice bunt single (showing the team how it’s done), stolen base, 1 run and Great double play.

Bernie “Stick”  2 hits, run and a RBI.

Dennis “Bull”  1 hit, 3 RBI’s, and combined with Al for a rockn-sockem play at the plate.

Kasper 1 hit, 2 runs, stolen base, covering the outfiled like a blanket

Billy  1 hit, great play on the stolen base attempt

Al “Hard Nose”  2 stolen bases and the other half of the rockem/sockem connection, run scored

Sean “Cannon”  1 hit, 1 run, stolen base, RBI

Next comes Middletown Indians….. Play hard and have fun.

There will be practice on Saturday 9/19 at West Shore. It will begin at 4pm, after practice we will fix up the field for Sunday’s game.

Way to finish the season.

We are on our way, keep it going guys.

We will be playing a game on the 6th of September againist the S.I. Cardinals. Game starts at 9:00 am.

West Shore at 6 pm .

In an epic battle the Rebels prevailed in 14 innings.

Billy “Married with Children” O’Neil double in the 9th inning scored “Joltin Joe” who slide head first into home to tie the game and sent it into extra innings.

In the 14th inning “Joltin Joe’s” salad was waiting and he knocked in the “Capt” with the winning run.
